eBay Repro Parts
-
I've noticed quite a few new ebay listings dealing with various suspension parts for our Hudsons, and was wondering if anyone has purchased any of these, and/or what your opinions might be as to the quality of these parts. For instance, here is a listing for spring shackles. Does this seem fishy to anyone?

That's a new old stock seller , not reprodution . He's legite , I've bought there . Notice tho that he only has these for one side . BUD
-
im not buyin that. the guy has over 100,000 items listed, and of those there are 213 listings for a "hudson shackle". nowhere in the listings does it say "nos or new old stock".
its very irritating to do a general search for hudson parts in ebay motors because of these kind of listings. i went through 10 pages and all but a few listings were from this guy:mad: thats reason enough for me not to buy from the guy. -
Well , I know I got what I ordered . Doing a high volume business doesn't make them shysters . NO comment on their advertiseing/listing methods , a lot of them do it that way so it must work for the sellers . Don't care much for it myself but if that's what I have to do to get what I need then that's what I have to do , not my show to run . Why don't you call their toll free number and talk to them instead of blackballing someone you know nothing about .
-
i didnt mean to blackball them. im sure they sell quality products, i just dont beleive they have nos parts in that volume. i guess i was just ranting a little. my appologies.

Prices seem really high, though. They're asking $440.00 for a set of kingpins for the '52 Hornet. I got a set from Kanter that are beautiful with all the parts for $120.00.
-
Wow, wish I could get $440.00 for the sets I have in stock.
Seems way over the top to me. They are not that scarce are they.??????
