1941 Streamliner Torpedo
-
Hello all,
I recently purchased 50 acres of land with some old cabins. The history states that it was a group of five familys that used the land as a retreat in the 1940s. While looking over the property I came across the shell of an old car. From the looks of it, its pretty far gone but I thought maybe someone can use something of it. I researchd the vin and figured out it is a 1941 Streamliner Torpedo 2dr Sedan.
If anyone would be intrested in any parts (what is left) of this car please let me know. I pulled the rad off since its solid copper and was going to use it for scrap. I am looking for any other help on what may be salvagable.
Thanks for any help.
Here are some photos....more if needed

Sorry to say but probably the only other thing worth saving would be the story of how it got there. If there isn't one make one up.
Good luck!

Check out the fenders and doors - if they aren't totally rusted out, you might put them on auction to see if anyone needs them Sometimes even if there is some rust, portions of the metal can be used. Check out any chrome trim that might have survived. These are always hard to find items for auto restorers.

Steering gear & transmission might be saveable as well as the manifolds.
