Anyone currently working on or replacing V8 motor mounts????
Howabout TreadleVac work??? (start a treadlevac thread).
Air conditioning????? (start an AC thread)
Engine oil pumps???? (start an engine oil pump thread).
ANYTHING???? -
Kanter (800-526-1096) has the rebuild kits for the treadle vac, $69. Also, a fellow in Florida rebuilds them. I can look up his number if interested.
-
I'd HIGHLY recommend dumping the Treadle Vac and putting something else in there that won't fail without warning. The BTV is the most unsafe part ever put on a car, bar none.
-
Kinda wierd. Have had great service on my treadle vac on my Hudson Hornet with the Packard v8. Maybe because of the way its set up on the Packard.
-
Those that have problems are the ones that do not replace the fluid every 3 years. This is a must as brake fluid picks up moisture. I have 139,000 miles on my car and have yet to replace any brake parts. Third set of shoes so far. Walt.

WALT,
have a TreadleVac on yours?
