Last week fellow HET member Bob Ward and myself were invited to a presentation night at Slaughter Motorsport in Brisbane[AUS.] to view their almost complete Land Speed Record Streamliner. Their aim is the AUS. record [curently held by Campbell's Bluebird @ around 403 MPH] then ship it to USA for a class record & ultimately the outright record for wheel driven cars, but not with the engine curently installed.

To find out more check out their web site

Is there something Hudson under all that? Forgive me if I'm not "up to speed" (pun intended) on this project. . .

No, no Hudson stuff. This is why it is posted in the "Discussion" section of the forum, where Hudnuts can go to talk about anything other than Hudsons.

It's vaguely Hudson related. Their aim is to beat the AUS. record held by Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird, which was designed by Reid Railton.

It is Nissan 3 ltr. out of 90's 4WD Skyline, they estimate around 2000hp at this stage.
