Body wanted
-
Looking for a mid-'20s to early '30s Hudson, Essex, Terraplane, or Mopar body. Looking for a shell only. Ideally, a two-door sedan would be great, but any body style will work. A roller would be OK, too. This is for a long-term hot rod project; possibly a future Bonneville car. NO restored or original cars, please! Just looking for a shell of a body, preferably with doors and frame. The more, the better, but I'll consider nearly anything if the price is right. Prefer a body located in Oklahoma or surrounding states, would consider travel for the right deal. I'm in OKC, OK. Thanks - Patrick"The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Hi Patrick,
Not sure if you've found your next project yet, but if you're still looking, this search site is awesome....it'll search all craig's lists as well as ebay and hemmings in one fell swoop!! Check it out:

LeeThis Hudson project is starting to scare the crud out of me!!! -
I check that site out pretty often, actually. I have found a '26 Essex 2-door body, doors, and cowl that I'm wanting to deal on, but the guy is impossible to get hold of. From the pics, it looks like what I've been looking for. A '20s Essex or Hudson frame would be a big plus, since they need very little modification, unlike a Ford A or T frame, for what I want to do."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things.
