Now, those bring back memories - I remember watching her on the small b&w TV dad brought home one day back in the '50's. And, yes, I saw her on that TV singing "God Bless America".
Katy sure had the voice. I doubt you could find 5 singers today, hell, maybe even 10, put together that could do as well.
Oh, well, different era, different values, different life style. Wasn't to bad either.
