54 Hornet Special
-
Bob Hickson has asked me to list his car on the forum as he is unable to. Some of you may or may not know that Bob's health has not been the best since mid Summer 2009. At this time he wants to sell his 54 Hornet Special sedan The car has no issues with it at all that would fall into the very expensive catagory to repair. It's an origional car with 32,000 miles on it. Thats right ORIGIONAL with 32,000. The interior is quite nice and the body is straight as it really has not been used very much. The price is $10,000 firm. Bob said he dosen't want any trades as the money needed from this sale will help defray medical expenses that have built up. If interested in more particulars on this vehicle please contact me as he has also asked if I would help him dispose of this car. Guys this is really a nice origional 308 with a hydramatic that runs and stops. If you're looking for a decent origional, this is it. BTW I am not doing this for any kind of renumeration at all. It wouldn't be right. PM me if interested. Lance

Wow, sure sounds like a nice low milage Hornet! And the Special is one I'd really like to own. Unfortunately, Tennessee, where I believe this Hornet Special is located, is a bit too far for me to travel these days and I'd hate to have to drive an older car like that any distance this time of the year. Especially when you take into account all the heavy snow many places in the country have been experiencing lately. Why are all the really good Hudsons for sale always at least a day's drive from the Chicago area?!! Anyway, on a much more serious note, I hope Bob Hickson's health improves soon and he's feeling much better.

Dan, We're all hoping his health improves. He's really not wanting to sell the car but well , what can you do?
