54 super wasp....
-
A while back there was a 54 Super Wasp for sale in Broomfield Colorado....It was a an all original low mile car.... Does anyone know what happened to it ? Did it sell ? I believe it was a olive green 4dr....
Thanks, -
I do not know if the car sold or not. I do know that this was one of the best original 54 SW sedans I have ever seen. I traveled to NE when the original owner (a lady) offered the car for sale. After I arrived the owner had a change of heart. Later a fellow from Omaha Ne was able to make the purchase. It is this same person who moved to Colorado who was selling the car when last it was advertised.

Thanks,
Harry54, looking at the pic and it coming from Colorado I think a guy in my local Hudson club owns it. A nice guy named Charles bought a car like that and had it shipped down here last year. His car is amazingly original and I believe it is a stick shift with overdrive. The seats are excellent and original. Matter of fact the whole car is excellent. This is just a guess though the pic looks exactly like his car.
He drove it at a speed of 90 mph on the way to one of our Hudson meetings. I will post a pic of it if I can find one that I took at the meeting. Richie. -

Thanks,
Harry54, I only have partial pics, but here is what I have. I'm the grey haired old guy looking under the hood and Charles is standing next to me. Richie.

Hi Harry, Yes this is the 54 I had advertised in the Jan/Feb 09 issue. Charles did buy it and had it shipped to Georgia. Charles is the poster boy for a great Southern Gentleman!! You couldn't meet a nicer guy!! Charles is a great addition to the wonderful HET members we already have!
90 miles an hour!!!! Is he one of those ex Nascar Boys!!!! -
Good for him.... I hope he gets alot of enjoyment out of it..... I knew that was a great car.... do you know what the price was ?
