66 chevelle or 69 camaro?
-
I thought I had it all worked out to buy a 69 camaro but then a gorgeous 66 chevelle popped up in my price range. Plus I found a few questionable items on the camaro ... signs of bondo(body line joints missing at rear of car), missing headrests, no stainless on the drip rail.
Both cars are clones (just my price range) and I'm going restomod including air ride eventually. The problems with the chevelle are ...no a/c, all drum brakes, no knee knocker tach and console. I will still be around the same price as the Camaro if I purchase these missing items.
I am unable to take my emotions out of this one. What do you guys think?

it must be the one you would want to work on and live with... any old car is never done being worked on. so it has to be the one you REALLY REALLY want or you may tire of it shortly. Never pick a car by what is wrong or right with it, if it's the body style you want but not the car you want wait. I can't stress enough that it is your car, and your time and money. It has to beone you love.
