'36 Hudson/Terraplane parts
-
The '36 Radio on Ebay is me. I didn't know what to ask for it but I figured it in a deal on this '36 I purchased. I do have all the fenders for this car, front and rear. I don't know if the front fenders can be modified to fit a '37 T that I am restoring for myself?. If anyone knows, please help me out. I have not got that far on my projects to get it all out and compare. If they won't fit or there is too much modification to make them fit, I am going to sell them. I know the rear are completely different though. These fenders are all rust free and look like there are no dents in them. Thanks Doug

oh oh! Are you saying that the rear '36 fenders are for sale? If so I would be *extremely* interested in 'em!
-
I'm fairly sure that little if any sheet metal from 1936 would fit 1937.
-
No sheet metal from the '36 fits the '37. As Scott said so eloquently on this forum, "the only thing from a '36 that interchanges with any other Hudson, is the spark plugs!"
I also think that he needs your left rear fender!! Hey Scott! -
We have a 1937 Terraplane in our club, and for years the owner has looked at the car head on and it aways appears to be higher one side than the other, he changed front springs, no change. One a closer inspection by our club members when he had the car out on a club run one day , all the experts came to the conclusion that one front mudguard (fender) is from a 1937 Terraplane and the other is from a 1938 Terraplane, when you look closely at them they have a different profile, but they fit each model.??????

I would be interested in getting a right rear fender, if you decide to sell any of the sheet metal. I've got an otherwise complete series 62 I'm restoring. airflowzephyr@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
