Color of '54 Hydraulic Jack?
-
Does anyone have a photo of an original Hudson hydraulic jack - possible option in '54? A historically-inclined, prospective member has put this question to me - he'd like to get the color just right.
Hudsonly,
J Cronk -
How's this. It looks like a Ford blue, but maybe a little darker. (I don't know if the color has darkened over the years though) The handle is blue also.

Hello Hudman51 (AKA JON), I was at the "Vintage Coach" last Friday, Jason had 4 -5 of these jacks there. Give Jason a call about the color. Victor Z

I was told that there is a differance between the stepdown and pre stepdown jacks. Something about the hook. Also there is a differance in the label.
The ones that I have are all the same as in the pictures above. -
There was one in the garage of my house when I moved in. I considered it an omen. It was the same color as the one pictured (blue) and looked to have a little bit of a metallic tint to the paint.

Thanks everybody - a perfect response!

Jon,
Since we had a perfect response, is the "prospective member" now a member?
