Does anyone know which way I hook up the vacuum on a 57 y block
-
I have a 57 Y Block, the fuel pump that has two outlets on the top and the main fuel outlet on the side. On the top one outlet is supposed to run to the intake and the other runs up to my vacuum powered wiper motor. Does anyone know which way these hook up? Does the one closest to the fan pulley go to the intake or is it visaversa? Also would this being incorrect cause a rythmic vibration? Thankful for any help :(JC

The "Outlet tube" is the one that goes to the manifold. The "Inlet tube " is the one that is next to the rocker, or actuating arm that goes into the engine.
If you need a diagram, let me know and I can post a picture for you.

I would love a picture of the actual diagram. Thanks a lot for your time and effort.
