Help! 54 windsor deluxe....
-
Hello all, new to the forum. I have a chance at a cheap 1954 chrysler windsor deluxe 4dr in pretty good shape. just looking for some opinions as to wether or not its worth getting into. after alot of searching ive gathered that this car has no real interest and not many people do much with them, wich is good and bad, good because there are not many on the road and bad since it wont be worth anything. my plans would be just to clean it up and leave it all stock looking, throw in a v8 and lower it on white walls. any opinions?

It all depends on
1) How much they want for it
2) What condition it is in
3) How much work you have to do on it
4) If you have to do things to it, are the parts available
5) Most important - DO you like the car

The car could make a very nice cruizer, but, as was asked, do YOU like the car, for what it is at the price being asked?? All of the parts needed/necessary to make it a safe reliable driver are available without making major changes.

I have a 54 Chry Wagon and it is a very unique brand year. If you love it, do it. If you do it hoping someone else likes it, it's not the right car for you. Happy hunting.
