Transmission troubles
-
Where can I find an exploded drawing of a 46 transmission w/ overdrive?
-
Jim, you should be able to find that in the parts book for your model, if you have trouble email me and I can scan it for you.

There are a couple links to online manuals here -

Jim, there's a good cross-section view in the '46-'47 parts book, but not an exploded view. Same for the '42-'47 service manual, but it's also got a lot of good photos of the transmission in various stages of disassembly. Those and the accompanying text give you all you need to know. I just completed a total disassembly/reassembly of a spare '47 OD transmission I have.
