1947 pontiac variations

Hi. My name is Robet Blake, from the NYC area. I have had four 1947 Pontiac convertibles through the years. One had a metric speedometer/odometer and likely came from Canada originally.
My current 47 ragtop has ROUND dash guages, not rectangular like all the other 47 convertibles (and sedans) I have owned. Was this a very early 47 and used 40-41-46 dash cluster?
