i have a ford v8 flathead 8ba and i cant think of what cam i want to get im looking for good torque and ok top speed... also what lifters should i get are the rolling ones worth the extra $200 or should i just get the norm adjustable ones????:confused:

Nate , not up to date on flat head cams anymore but rollers are the way to go on any engine , less power robbing friction and the ever changeing oil thing . ZINK is needed in flathead engine oils to prevent cam/lifter wear and all modern oils do not have it . Yes, some still do but it is being gradually forced out by the environment fanatics in government and you must be dilegent in keeping up to date on the oil formulas , best go rollers and be sure you won't have trouble unexpectidly .
