Modified '40 Hudson Pickup - on eBay
-
Located in Lorain, Ohio.
Not sure of the seller's thoughts or concept on this one, IMO it does not 'flow' too well. Must not have had much left of the bed, as it appears to be from another make (Ford?).
No idea what the nose looks like - no photos of it (?)...

Is this some type of multiple throttle bodied fuel injection?
-

This is from the Cleveland Craig's list Ad, asking price was $15000.00.
The Ad says the tilt front end is fiberglass, so what is left that was Hudson ? Half of a cab and hood? -

Was thinking the same thing when I posted this...
Tilting hood - The way it tilts looks more than a bit odd...
Nitros and the battery - Think it could look a bit better, possibly with the battery in a nice box, and a good wooden floor in the bed... -
Should Nitro be that close to a battery? Isn't there a possible flamability (sp?) issue?
Oh, I'm not too wild about this as well. -
You're right- kind of "mixed metaphors" here- back end looks "diesel herky", front end kind of pro-street Willys, and cab (sportsman class jalopy racer?) is just plain silly lookin'. You could go a ways toward pulling it all together by making the cab a Hudson again.
Nitro by the battery might be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully disguised well enough to fool the insurance adjuster.

I'm sorry, but I gotta question someone's taste on this one. To me it fits the catagory of 'I changed the truck only for the sake of changing it, asthetics-not important'.

This is what happens when you have too many "yes-men" sycophants around you while doing a build or are surrounded by 2 year olds!
"Wow, that really looks cool!"
"Man, I wish I had your skills!"

Contrary to popular belief Jay, nitrous oxide is not combustible by itself. It does however make more oxygen available for the combustion process, which is why the good systems inject extra fuel along with the nitrous. Injecting this extra fuel along with the means to allow it to burn properly gives you a "chemical supercharger". The systems can often be purchased with a fuel pressure sensor tied to the nitrous control solenoid, to avoid injecting additional nitrous when the fuel system can't keep up. Allowing this condition would over-lean the mixture, burning holes in pistons and causing other damage.Workin Stiff -
Another fine example of, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should."

Looks like it ended the last time @ $4,100.00, and the time before that was a BIN of $9500.00 or BO.
Looks like this one will be around for a while...
