What is the best and fastest source for ignition points and condenser?

Would NAPA stock these and if so, what is the NAPA Part Number?

I also need to replace the overdrive cable and the control from the heater to the valve on the head? Who might have these parts?

    I appreciate your help.

Just hit a NAPA store and ask for the parts you need. I get all Hudson tune up parts at NAPA and the price is right. Walt.

Fastest way to find an overdrive cable? Have you tried Stu Coleman, in Montana? He might have an old one kicking around. (Contact info's in the National roster)

For a '46 8 cylinder which uses an Autolite 1GP4008A distributor, Standard lists AL-5661X points and AL-111X condenser which crosses to NAPA CS709 and AL869.

Napa also has the Champion J-7 or J-9 plugs you will need. J-7 for highway driving or J-9 for city driving. Walt.

I got the ignition parts from Dave Kostansek. I figure he can use the business.

I'll contact Stu Coleman about the cables.

    Thanks for your help.

Yup, just ordered tune-up kits for my 212 & 232, plugs and plug wires from Dave yesterday (440-293-4079). Need to order some additional parts, but that wills keep me busy for a little while... ;)
