Crossflow radiator in Stepdown
-
Has anyone installed crossflow radiator in their stepdown?
I know some have installed 76 Dodge Van radiators, but these are still downflow . I was thinking that with the 5.3 V8 I plan to put in I would want more cooling capacity. What with AC and all the load.
I found on Summit part #381428 that seems to fit the bill.
Any other ones that you have used?
Thanks

Yep! I have an LS1 5.3c.i./4L60e trans with a cross flow radiator from Howe Racing. They have a nice selection of radiators at good prices. I think I purchased mine thru Summit. Photos later since I'm on another computer and don't have access to my photos. Another alternative is looking up some of my threads which shows the radiator in place.
I use standard correctly formed radiator hoses from Napa so if I ever need to replace them I can just run down to the auto supply and give them the correct part number.
Peace,
