Generator to Altenator

Greetings all - I am building a 1956 Chevy 2dr - I have a new engine and all installed and now want to swap out the generator for a altenator - my main questions are;
1. What to do with the wires from the old voltage regulator?
2. Which wire from the old generator goes to the new alt?

It depends on if u are running power windows etc... I would go stock.
Just restore it to original. I'm sure u will beef it up though?
