Steel fuel line , 54 customline I-6
-
What are my options for replacing the steel fuel line that is between the fuel pump and the carburetor on my 1954 Ford Customline (Inline 6) ?
While replacing the Carb, I bent/snapped off the end section of the tube!! The problem I have now is that I can't seem to find this part anywhere?
I've searched the parts on the big classic ford sites, and I can't find it anywhere.
Thoughts? -
cant u go to the parts store and get a steel line and get it bent? most part stores will bend it for u if u take the old one with u....
-
use steel brake line of the same size, 2 or more can be joined to get enough length , you can buy a hand held bender for a few bucks , it will come in handy again later on . BUD
