Converting 1937 Ford brakes to hydraulics
-
I am trying to convert the mechanical brakes on my 37 to hydraulics. I have all the backing plates, wheel cylinders and 1939 clutch and brake assembly for the master cylinder, which I am told should work. It doesn't line up....any help would be appreciated.

I'm not a Ford expert, but I found the following book on the internet which might offer you some advice:
http://books.google.com/books?id=2hhPIyxe754C&pg=PA106&lpg=PA106&dq=Converting+1937+Ford+brakes+to+hydraulics&source=bl&ots=lKr7Fk3nv3&sig=gpVs9WPdZX4WF7tAUrwoTwfVCU8&hl=en&ei=qLrcSv2WMZKxlAeg8_ChAQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=8&ved=0CCQQ6AEwBw#v=onepage&q=Converting%201937%20Ford%20brakes%20to%20hydraulics&f=false
If the link doesn't take you to the correct page, it's 106. The rest of the book looks like it would have a lot to say about brakes as well.
