Does anyone know where I can purchase a spare tire tub for a 41 husdon four door? Was able to order a floor pan and front pans for it but no tub. Something even close would help. I don't know how deep it should be because the bottom half is completly gone. Thanks

Where did you find the floor pans for your '41?
Maybe you could find a tub from a donor car (not necessarily a Hudson) that could work with a little fabrication...
or
You might be able to fabricate one using trailer replacement fenders --- invert, weld some sides on it and cut to fit. Tractor Supply Company sells a couple of different sizes...

I ordered them at Classic 2 Current Fabrication LLC.

You may want check with French Lake Auto Parts in Minnesota to see what's left on this '42. If it would have what you need, they may carve it out for ya and ship it.

How about an English Wheel, some flat steel a torch, hammer and a little time. I did my inner fender wells that way on my custom Hudson. Not that tough.Brownie

This spare tire tub for a Chevy might work.

I just measured my '40 four door tire well. Inside floor opening 30 3/4 long, 9 wide, 8 1/4 deep. This was with the help of my three year old so the numbers may be a little off. She decided that the Hudson is her car and anything I do with it she has to help.

Do your best to encourage that! -

I was thinking the same thing, Russel!
Start by teaching her the different wrenches...

Thanks guys for the feedback. Going off of Super 7 measurements and Mars 55 suggestion of the chevy wheel tub. I'll probably go with with the tub as its pretty close to the hudson. This should complete my search for the panels I need. This is one heck of a forum! JIm
