'28 ebt
-
a fantastic looking yellow '28 EBT just consigned to eBay - in Ohio
-
28???? It's my understanding, and from the research I've done, that Essex boat-tails were made in 1927 and 1929 - and I think 1930 or 1931 also. But not in 1928!!

I think your right Alex. But my guess is that it's going to be a second series 1927. Which some people call a '28. If it is, it will have a belt line detail that runs the length of the car. First series '27's didn't have the belt line detail.

Right.

serial number 647636 if that helps -
That BT belongs to Lorraine Reese in Ohio, it is a second series 27 and the serial # confirms that. I looked this car over at the National in Dearborn in '96. it is not a 28 due to the lack of 4 wheel brakes. Some items are not exactly correct on this car, ie steering wheel, taillight, spare tire carrier. Nothing major for sure, just not original.

Tom - he used to have several '33 T8s, do you know if he still does?
-
Pete, I know that he has sold 2 ET8 coupes. One was a business Cp (trunk) & the other rumble seat. The business Cp was apart & the other was a driver. The guy who bought them also has a 33T6 CV Cp Deluxe that he has had since 1954. I know Loraine has at least 2 or 3 T8 coupes and 1 CV Cp that are street rods.
