'42 street rod for sale

for those who might be interested: in just received OCW, ad for a '42 cp. that's been rodded. List of all the junk done to it is several inches long so won't put that here unless someone wants it. There are photos avail. at: brownssales.com; asking price $42,800. Can't tell what model cp. it is.

I've seen that car for on ebay and other places several times and it has had alot of work but I'm not sure it's a '42. At least the front and rear fenders are definitely 41 models and the rocker areas have been modified but look more like 40-41. The running board covers on '42-'47 models are not present.
Still a nice car.
