Pontiac 194???
-
Hello every one !
I just enlisted on your forum to ask you some questions about a car I've found in the woods .
By looking on the internet I can tell that it's a Pontiac (Knew that from the grill !!!) maybe a Torpedo 4 doors, and my guess is a 1942.
That's where I'm not sure : Every pictures of '42 I've seen have straight bars on the grill and mine are curved.
I can also tell you that the car is in the Province of Quebec, in Canada. Maybe it's a special Canadian model, I know that happened sometimes from American builders.
I'm posting pictures hoping to have some more info on this thing and if any parts have any value .
Thanks a lot for your help !

So, nobody here knows exactly what this is ?
Is there a place at GM where I can ask ?
Thanks anyway for looking. -
Pretty sure you are looking at a 46 Pontiac.
I believe the black paint around the Pontiac emblem is the clue.
Not sure that there is any difference between a 42 or 26 grill.
47 has only four total bars.
Good luck,
Tim
