46/47 Hood prop spring needed

Anyone have a hood spring or two that they would part with? Also, I just noticed that the hood props on my truck are installed opposite of each other. Which way is the correct way?

Thanks for the pics. It just occurred to me that my battery was switched to the other side to accomodate the sbc
