New owner of Catalina need help

I just bought a 64 catalina convertible and have a question. the car has a grand prix grille and "GP" logo in grille and the Grand Prix lights in the grille area it also has a grand prix badge on the dash above the glove box and it has the light bar under the trunk lid with the 3 lights on each side. this all appears to be factory installed anybody ever seen anything like this. I'm new to Pontiacs usually mess with Chevelles. believe it or not somebody traded this car in on a new Malibu and i saw it sitting on the lot at the dealer went in struck a deal then and there and drove it home. any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I talked to a guy that owned the car from 1982 to 99 he said owner before him had a GP parts car and installed the grand prix stuff. Mystery solved. I'm going to leave it this way since it looks Kinda cool.
