gas tank filler pipe grommet

Can this be replaced on a '36 Hudson without having to remove the tank and pipe?

If your talking about the one on the outside at the body , yes , the old one will be hard so you may have to cut it but the new one will go on OK--BUD -
Bud, yes that's the one I meant thanks. I'm installing my new F**d fuel gauge sender unit and want to put the tank back in so I can drive the car while I'm waiting for the new grommet to arrive (actually I haven't even ordered it yet from K-Gap). The old grommet basically broke into pieces and is totally useless now.
