Speedometer Identification Question
-
I bought a NOS speedometer for a 52 or 53 step down Hudson. The part number is 565JT4. It has a black face with white numerals with chrome ring. Also, there is a tag tied to it with:
53?
238377
63-2
Can someone ID the year and model Hudson. Thanks for your help.

Lee,
If you have a picture of the item and are having trouble posting it, email it to me and I'll post it for you. If it was acquired on eBay and there is a photo with the auction, email me the link and if it is still active, I'll pull the photo and post it here. -
Lee, The part number indicates it as a 53 Hornet.

Thanks for identifying the speedometer as a 53 Hornet. The seller wasn't sure if it was a 52 or 53.
Rick
I acquired the speedometer at this years National. I didn't have any real use for it. It was one of those "JUST GOTA HAVE IT" moments. My justification for buying it was, someday I will get a step down and I may need a new speedometer and being it was NOS, still in the original box, didn't help. Just had to have it.
As for emailing pictures. I wouldn't know how to do that. In the past you have gratiously offered to post pictures of my PU if I would send the to you. I have photographs, but wouldn't know how to send them short of mailing them to you. I don't know if photographs can be posted on the computor.
Thanks for offering.
