What automatic did the 55 Hornet V8 use?
It's using the Packard V8 I think.

It used a Packard Ultramatic transmission. This was made by Packard. You are correct, the V8 Hudson was using was the Packard V8.

Larry the engine is a 320 2 barrel make sure you check out the unibody frame in behind the rocker pannels and under the trunk these cars have been known to rust!!!!!
