-
A friend of mine needs a pair of front motor mounts for his '38 Terraplane. Anyone have a set?
Thanks -

Have you tried K-Gap? They have the rubber pieces, so if your friend kept the bolts, nuts, washers and 'insert' they should be good to go...A friend of mine needs a pair of front motor mounts for his '38 Terraplane. Anyone have a set?

BTW: Most of these were pretty standard thru the years, at least up till 1947.

Here is the latest on contact info for K-Gap:

He has given up on K-Gap. These have been on order for 2 months or more and for what ever reason they have not shipped. K-gap's online store is down and I am wondering what is going on there. They say they are shipping them but then they do not show up............................
My friend's car has been sitting now for over 2 months. He is about ready to use some Ford motor mounts that look like they may work. -

As indicated in the thread (link above), K-gap has just finished moving to larger facilities. Also, the National is not too far in the past, so they've been more than somewhat busy. Kanter has them -

Also, you might try calling or emailing some of these folks -

And if all else fails and you're really desparate - I have a full set of the k-gap rubber mounts that are sitting on a shelf (#541, upper and lower) , which I will not need for a while... -
A bit late (sorry), but another place you might want to try. I just got a catalog from them this afternoon, and they list motor mounts for Hudsons -

Got a part from them today, and it came with a catalog. 40 or so pages, with quite a bit of hard to find parts, pieces and fastners, and quite a bit of Hudson parts listings.
You'll have to give them a call, as no Hudson parts are listed online, although Hudson & Terraplanes are listed under independent makes. -
Rich thanks for the info. My friend ordered his stuff from Kanter. He tried again to check on the K-Gap website but it was still down late yesterday.
