Mother load of Studebaker carbs & parts ??
-
Hello all, My name is Jay. Nice to join the forum! I live in South bend Indiana, Home of the Studebaker plant. My grandfather was a master tool & die maker at the plant for 25 years. He passed away in 1995, I was going though the tons boxes of things he left for me and low and behold... he had boxes & boxes of new carb rebuild kits, about 50 Stromberg type W carbs that look like they are new and never ran squirreled away for years! I am just checking to see possibly if there are any swap meets around the Midwest or clubs near Northern Indiana I can get in touch with, or possibly members here near me to talk to. I do not own a Studebaker and like to get rid of these parts to finish my 70 chevelle SS. I am a T-7 in wheelchair due to a accident 19 years ago so my project has been a SLOW one! Sorry if this is the wrong area to post, I am just trying to get info and get these parts to collectors like yourselves and not let them go to waste. Thank you for any info that you can give me! Jay.

I'll pass your name along to a close friend of mine that is a President of the local chapter in Chicago. He may be able to help you.
Do you have an e-mail to give him?
