What is the correct capacity of the battery for a 1942 8 cilinder One Twenty Packard ??
in terms of Amps.... for 1 six volts
Will an optima battery work ??

Don't have the least idea what they had from the factory , doubt very much if anyone does . The more electric stuff you have the more amps you want . Personally I allways go for the most amps I can get and a certain amount for any given car is not necisarly a requirement . Any brand 6V will work just fine . BUD -
A 6v Optima would probably be the best battery you can buy for it, IMHO.
