Do you think the guy has reinforced the body and frame of this car like a convertible body should be for safety. Or just chopped the top and she is ready to go. Wonder how much the cowl on this flexes as you drive.

It would be a fun car to have here in sunny Las Vegas, but another car is not in the cards for me right now....

Also, does it have a working top mech.?

You know, that's almost attractive as a convertible . . . but not really.

Paul, this is a must have car for you. We can show it and the Jet convertible together and change the world. I am a little worried about how you are going to jump over the doors that are welded shut, but I am sure we can figure out a way. Ed

There is NO top mechanism on there - all they did was slice the top off and that was it. Apparently, NO reinforcement of the unibody, since the doors don't open, and they ARE the support on this rig! Personally, I don't thing I'd drive it to the end of my driveway, much less on a highway/

Guy took a potential builder and made it a parts car.

Lots of people list a car on craigslist for a dollar, because if you use the "search" function there, and state a price from "$1 - $5000", theirs is guaranteed to come up. A guy got pissy at me once when I told him I'd be over for that "dollar car" and he said it was not for sale for a buck. I told him he'd better change it quick or I'd be over with that dollar!

I'd like to see a video of someone trying to get in and out of that thing. To make it stronger you could weld some channel iron on both sides the length of the car, weld the hood and trunk shut and the wheels on, Done

Dave S, I had a great laugh wit those two lines, Thanks

Nope. Not really. I never thought the Hashes were all that attractive.

It's all in the angle that you look at them. With that 327, most cars only got to look at the view from the rear.
