1968 Thunderbird

    Does anyone know if the 1968 Thunderbird 429 2 Dr came in a convertible. If so, does anyone have any idea where I can get a conversion kit for it. The one I just picked up is a vinyl top that has some rust in it. I was hoping to switch it to convertible though.

    The best I can determine is that the last year for a Thunderbird convertible (until the debut of the "retro" baby birds) was 1966. It seems the convertible was abandoned in the Thunderbird line in 1967.
