I need some help please 1957 Ford Custom 300
-
So we pulled this old wreck out of a barn and I need a few tiny parts. The carburetor was in pieces when I began to rebuild the car. After finishing the engine and the rebuild on the carb I find that I am missing 3 pieces. I need to locate the simple spring clips that are used on the arms with the grooves, and I need the clip that slides over the arm with a simple dowl and then clips over the metal piece of the linkage. Any help would be great.
Thanks -
hair pin clips can be got at the hardware store and if I know what you mean by the one that clips on the rod with holes in it you can rob it from other carbs or the auto parts store --BUD

How hard was rebuilding the carb (besides the missing pieces). I'd have thought buying a new one would be feasible...
