I had to purchase a BRAND NEW copy from a classic Ford parts company, and can't remember who it was right now, and it's a good book, there are GOBS of photos, BUT the photos are not the quality one would expect and so one must depend on the words more than the photos.



We have a 272 in our 1956 Customline Ford too. Do you have photos? wanna exchange some?



My FIRST brand new car was in Sep 1955; a MAINLINE with six, 3 on the tree.

1955 Ford Shop manuals are available from Dennis Carpenter and other vendors for $32.50 to 35.00. Another source is www.gregsonline.com. They also have the manual for the Ford-O-Matics.



I purchased a 1956 Ford Shop manual for mine and it is quite comprehensive.
