1949 DeSoto Value?
-
can anyone give me a rough estimate on a 1949 Blue DeSoto with original lining and mild to poor condition (needs quite a bit of cleaning and fixing up, but in workable shape)
thanks any help is really appreciated

Without seeing the car or at least some good photos of it, it's pretty difficult to give a value to any car.
Try the Old Cars Value guide. You should be able to find it on line. Or try NADA.

Anywhere between a dollar and a million dollars. "What's it worth?" threads are worthless without a complete description of the car, condition, running/driving, titled/registered, what's missing? Pictures? you don't say if you are selling or buying. Sounds like a fishing expedition to me.
It is worth what a buyer is willing to give you, and what you are willing to accept, agree. Period. This is the answer to ALL "what's it worth?" threads."The time has come", the Walrus said, "to speak of many things. Of shoes and ships and sealing wax, of cabbages and kings. And why the sea is boiling hot,
And whether pigs have wings..."
