1937 dodge wheels: What will fit?

    I have a 1937 Dodge D-5 that I have almost finished restoring, What modern

    wheels will fit on this car?? Does'nt matter what size 14, 15, 16, or 17" has anyone already done this and been successful?

    Any 5 lug, 4-1/2" wheels from a Chrysler, Dodge, DeSoto, Plymouth (NOT Imperial!), Hudson, Studebaker, or AMC, so long as they have the locator hole for the locator pin.



    Ford wheels do NOT fit, since they have a smaller center (register) hole than all of the above.

    If you want to use any listed above and they don't have the guide pin hole

    cut the pin off. I've done it on many a MoPar, most chrome wheel dont come with guide pin hole.
