Hudson sighting in Yucaipa
-
I was uptown today and spotted a brown four door Jet at a local Jewelry store today. Does anyone have any idea who's car that might be? It was the first time I've seen that car in town. I looked real straight, I'm wondering if it is someone on this forum.

Dave, not a problem. 99.9% of the witnesses would have the cops looking for a foreign car. Nobody would know what it was to start with - even if one of the witnesses was sitting on the hood.

Alex,
So true. Witnesses would probably say it was either a 52 Ford, a 54 Hillman or a 70's era Toyota. Nah, that's giving them too much credit. Can you imagine if a Stepdown were used in a crime, the police would be looking for 49-51 Mercurys.
I can see the headlines, "Police baffled - Still trying to identify make of low slung mystery cars used in heists." LOL -
I had to respond to a buglar alarm one night and the company asked me what I would be driving so the sheriff's deputy would know it was me. I told her a Hudson Hornet and she relayed that to the deputies but when I pulled up they all started laughing because they didn't believe her. We spent more time talking about the car than my alarm. The thing they all commented on was the lighted grill ornament.
