I put my old 54 Super wasp on the Ebay just to get a slap in the face.
Not even 3 bids! I thought she was worth at least $1500 but $510 is all it went. Is the economy that bad or is my ol sweetie that big of a piece of ****?
Ok don't answer that!!
I didn't really want to get rid of her anyway.
Dusty

Take it as a sign - you were supposed to keep her! -

Yeah, what he said.
The economy is soft. I just sold a running 392 that was complete down to the sediment bowl, but couldn't get more than $4000 for what is usually a $5-6000 motor.

Esfoder,
Now is not a good time to be selling any "LUXURY" item. But it's a fantastic time to be the buyer. I have an '82 Collector's Edition Corvette, only 1 was built per Dealer. NADA shows $27,895 but I've seen people offering these for $12,500 "Buy it Now" on Ebay. I just HAD to contact one of the sellers , to find out why he was selling it for less than half price, and his answer was he had to come up with $210,000 within 90 days. I guess I could have bought the shirt off his back for just pennies on the dollar.
I've got my Vette sitting in the Vintage Car Museum in Hardy,Ar. I'm not looking to sell it until I finish my Hudson, but I'll let it sit, before I sell it too cheap. The economy will turn around, and people will go back to spending more than they earn, but it'll be a while. -

IT'LL BE A WHILE, That's what my 7 yr old grandson said when I Showed him my Terraplane and said I'd take him for a ride when I got it fixed up. He's had his ride now. BUD
