A few questions on my truck
-
I have a few questions that I'm hoping some of you can help me out with;
1) Where can I find a rubber boot (bellows) for the brake master cylinder push rod on my 47 truck? The original is dry rotted into a few pcs. I have a new master cylinder from Dave K but it didn't come with the boot.
2) What paint is safe to to use on parts inside the gas tank? (The guage sender is very rusty, I plan to blast it and then...). It is not an OE tank
3) Any good ideas on removing the clutch pedal shaft (the one that goes through the floorboard)? Is there a certain type of puller that does this?
4) Is there another type of radiator that will fit into a 46-47 with slight mods? The original will at least need a rebuild, I plan to drive the truck and will upgrade the radiator if I can fit it into the bugdet.
Thanks in advance;

Hi Matt Any rebuild kit for a none power brake M/C comes with a boot . Try Napa . As for the radiator If you have the stock radiator DON'T GET RID OF IT :eek: . Find a GOOD radiator shop and have a 4 core hi flow core put in your tanks . I have done 3 now and NOT A PROBLEM with any of them .

Thanks Dave,
I'll look into the radiator. I found a good local locksmith to get my keys squared away per your former advice.

Matt check my site.... the tool for Hudsons is show... you pull the pedal off the arm from below with the tool... kinda looks like a ball joint puller.
