I'm having a hard time getting the car to shut off it, it is stuck in the on postion and to stop it when its running I have to pull the coil wire, and I had to hook up a jumper wire from the Starter to the Batt. can some help me out I'm thinking of hooking up a generic turn key switch for the auto store but not sure if it is going to work..... and not sure what wires to hook up to it... there are 4 terminals ..... Batt. / igniton / accesserios.../ Starter?????????

Are you saying that the key will not turn to allow the car to shut off?
Or, are you saying that the key turns and the engine continues to run?

___ Best thing is to just take the switch out and if you can't get the key out take it to a locksmith, which you'll have to do anyway if you don't have spare keys , he can and make you a new key that will work and still have your keys match your door locks, ----BUD
