Hey all So Cal people. There is a AMC car show at the Fairplex in Pomona at the end of the month. According to the flyer there will be Hudsons there too.

Anyone thinking about going? -
The Hudson AMC Car Club of Australia Inc is host for the American Independents Display Day to be held in Sydney Australia on the 17th May. 2009. This display caters for all car built by all the independent motor companies of America.
This event is usually held as close to Independence Day (4th July) but, as about 40 of us coming your way this July we moved it forward, we did not want to miss the National this year.
Our club caters for Hudson-Essex-Terraplane-Nash and AMC Cars, as we are a relatively small country compared to the USA, we decided a few years ago to change the name of our club from....The Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Nash & Rambler Car Club of New South Wales Inc. (which was a mouthful)
We have a lot of younger guys buying Rambler vehicles, so it made sense (to us anyway) to change our club name, we cater for all vehicles that way, and we continue to grow from strength to strength, we would not have continued this growth if we hadn't , they possibly would have gone and joined other car clubs. -
Thanks for sharing, when we visited your country in 2004 we appreciated the cars your clubs showed us. The Australia Day event was fantastic and the crowds covered the area up(several blocks in 3 directions) The American built autos that were Utes and the ones that used different sheetmetal than what we were used to seeing, really made the event one to cherish and appreciate.
We made a photo album with cars from the event and tried to take pics of all types, but we missed a few. Thanks for sharing your treasuries with us and talking to us. Will see you in Pontiac, will your brother come also? Thanks, Bob -
