    Hey all,

Trying to find a couple bushings for the trailing arms that attach the front axle to the frame on my 36T.

The number is HB744 on the bushing and the hudson number is 150561.

Any ideas or leads would be great!

    Thanks,

    Jeff

I tried Danny at KGap as well and he doesnt know of anyone reproducing them. Guess I will hope someone has a couple they want to sell!

    Thanks,

One of our members out west had some made recently by Steele Rubber in NC. Check with them ... I would think they'd still have the molds. If not, e-mail me. I still have the molds I made a few years ago when I made several sets of these bushings, for myself and others. I'm at hetpwald@comporium.net. (remove "het" for actual address).

hello, skinned knuckles several years ago ran a series of articles about casting your own replacement bushings out of an available, two part urethane. flexane 94 made by devcon. i cast several parts with molds made from plaster of paris and hardwood. the stuff works great. the parts came out perfect. regards, tom

    Hey all,

Well, Steele is a no go. They dont have or do them.

I like Toms idea but I think I would make a huge mess!

Never heard of those products or would have any idea where to get them.

The way its looking I may need to find out!

    Keep y'all posted.

I made mine with the product tigermoth refers to above. Info is in a paperback titled "How to Cast Small Metal and Rubber Parts, by William A. Cannon. It may still be available.

    WOW! Those look great!

If I dont have any luck, and being as Richard is in need as well, would you consider doing another batch run? Looks like their is a need for your abilities and craftsmanship. :-)

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Guys, go to your browser and type in --- HOW TO CAST RUBBER PARTS---all kinds of info will come up, and the book by W.A. CANNON is available there. ---Typeing in ---FLEXANE 94--- will get you to a source for it Next to the HUDSON FORUM the net is a good place to go for info, HO,HO, searching could turn up other products also---- BUD

I'm afraid I've got so much going on in the next few months it would be late summer before I could make any more of these critters. So Jeff, do you want my molds, pictured above?
