1954 Hornet Front Clip?
-
Hello all,
I am a longtime lurker and first time poster. I have a 1954 Hornet four door that I have owned since I was 15, granted that is only 8 years but it is still my favorite long term project. When I was seventeen the engine went south on me, Being young and without money I elected to put a chevrolet front clip with a 396 in it which actually ended up costing me way more than a rebuild would have. Through a series of unfortunate events the car is still not running. I would like to find the front frame rails for this car and an engine and transmission, is this possible to find? Where would I look for a front end? I have all of the sheet metal, I just need the frame, running gear, engine and tranny. I am located in Fort Worth Texas, if that makes any difference. Thanks for your help.

Get in contact with Jim Guinn he is in Texas and may have a parts car you can use to bring that back to stock. Contact him at HETjjimsresto@aol.com (remove the HET before sending) he will be able to help you.www.hudsonmotorcar.org
