I am real happy with how nice my Hornets front suspension parts turned out. I spent a long while cleaning off 55 years of crud then had them powder coated a semi gloss black. I painted the bushing shafts and spindles with cast iron colored paint and the caps with silver cad paint. The rubber seals I made by cutting the ends off of 1" rubber stool tips.

Thanks much, I am looking for encouragement to "getter done" next up is detailing the center steering arm, tie rods and ends, steering gear box, and a complete power steering assembly that I have pieced together. I am missing the pitman arm limiter plate to complete the power steering so if anyone has a pattern I can copy, that would be great. My goal is to drive it from Southern California to the national next year in Washington state(about 2200 miles round trip) and have a shot at the Albright award. Seems like plenty of time but it really isn't since im not retired and can't dedicate every weekend to working on it. Oh, there is also that little problem of having money to spend on it.

Nice work, Chris. Keep up the great work. Did you put in new kingpins, as well?
