pristine 1972 LeMans Sport- Need help with sale price
-
Alright folks- its the classic situation. I'm in the process of purchasing a beautiful 1972 Lemans Sport from an elderly woman in NJ who has had it in her garage for the past 25 years. The car is showroom-clean and completely original. Very low mileage- 70K. 350, vinyl top, GTO hood and Enduro bumper- not a spot of rust.
I'm having a hard time estimating what the max sale price should be, considering the substantial price differential between LMs and GTOs. Any thoughts on the max?
Thanks for your help. -
I will assume that it is NOT a GTO.
Without seeing the car or close inspection, I would guess maybe $18,000.00

I always look at http://NADA.com under their classics. you can usually set by Zip code and it helps get a ball park figure.
