Great job to say the least !!!
-
Better watch out Jay Leno going to be after that 1 LOL
going to be a sepurb job when finished

51 Hornet in Doc Hudson blue... I like it. Why no Twin-H?
-
When it rebuilt the engine gas was $4.25 a gallon, so I decided to keep the 2bbl on it. If it stays below $2.00 this year, maybe I'll have to put a twin h set up on it.Dave W.

With or without Twin H, gotta love the Doc Hudson Blue. Works well I think. Only Doc Hudson painted in racing trim gives any indication to the average non-Hudson person of the presence of a Twin H setup. Doesn't look like you plan to go racing with it. You could always put those eyes in the window. lol
-
Doc Hudson tie in or not, that's one nice looking Hudson.
-
Thanks for the kind words. It really makes it all worthwhile.Dave W.

Dave, I know how much work and time it takes to do what you did. Excellent job, yours is beautiful, congrats !!! Richie.
-
Absolutely Beautiful! Love the color. It'll be a knockout out on the road. Looks like you are finishing it up. What is the plan for the interior? Leather a possibility? Tan, Black or even a lighter blue leather would really be sharp.
Keep up the good work.
-
Beautiful, keep sending pics. I really live to see these type of rebuilds, really nice. Love it, thanks for sharing. Bob

Super nice! I love the color too.

Looks good, Dave. Really like the headliner, it will make the car bright, happy and "open".

Russ,
Yes, I agree. It is quite the pleasant change after looking at black POR-15 up there for the last 9 months.
Have a happy 4th!Dave W.

Dave, who restored your instruments? That car is stunning especially the fine small details which so many do not realize the importance of to a quality job.

Rick,
Thanks for the compliment I restored the cluster on the kitchen table. About the only things farmed out was the chrome and the sewing of the upholstery.Dave W.
